Registered Mental Nurses (RMN) are responsible for providing care for individuals with personality or psychological disorders. Mental Health nurses work in hospitals and the community to support those with a range of mental health conditions.

Working closely with families and clients to develop positive relationships is a key part to this role.

Typical Duties

  • Assessing and supporting patients
  • Physical care – If patient is too old or unwell to care for themselves
  • Administering medication
  • Liaising with doctors, social workers and other professionals
  • Writing and updating patient records
  • Providing advice and arranging support for patients, relatives and carers
RMN Staffing

Taking on a new recruit can be a long and frustrating process. With RMN recruitment we are aware of all the potential barriers to nurses starting work. That is why we ensure that everything is as quick and smooth as possible in the RMN recruitment process. This will mean you will have a fully staffed rota without having to concern yourself with the normal waiting times.

Enhanced Discolsure and Barring Service (DBS) Check

We will save you both the time and cost of completing the Enhanced DBS Check necessary to allow the professional to work in a role that has contact with vulnerable children or adults. This way we minimise any possible chance of delays and allow our staff to begin work immediately.

Uniform

All our professionals arrive fully prepared, ready to work in their own personal work uniform. However, you may have your own company uniform which our staff will be happy to wear. Either way you’ll have both situations covered.

Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN

Along with the relevant academic credentials, it is compulsory that for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to commence work in the United Kingdom, a PIN must be issued from the regulating Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). All our RGNs arrive with a valid and current PIN, ready to commence work as soon as they are given the green light from your home. If an employer or any other individual wishes to check the validity of a nurse’s NMC PIN, the NMC offer a ‘search the register’ service on their official website at the following link: http://www.nmc-uk.org/search-the-register/. However, we guarantee that all of our nurses hold a valid NMC PIN to work in their nursing roles.
